Sri Chaitanyeshwar Mahadev Temple and other Poojas

  The Ashram has a shrine to Lord Shiva as Sri Chaitanyeshwar Mahadev in commemoration of the tapasya and contemplation practised by Swami Chaitanyanandaji Maharaj for over fifty years at Uttarkashi. It is located adjacent to the "Sadguru Nivas" in which Swamiji had lived. At this shrine  regular pooja and ritual Abhisheka is performed to Lord Shiva. It is also possible to arrange for Pada pooja for Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj and Swami Chaitanyanandaji Maharaj in the name of any devotee who desires to do so at the Ashram shrine in the satsang hall. Those who are interested in performing specific poojas may contact the ashram at its email address. Some of the sponsored activities which anyone interested can get performed include - 

1. Rudrabhishekam Pooja for Chaitanyeshwar Mahadev (Lord Shiva) 

2. Pada Pooja for Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj

3. Pada Pooja for Swami Chaitanyanandaji Maharaj

4. Bhandara (Lunch) sponsored for one day for Swamis and other Ashram residents

5. Bhandara (Lunch) sponsored for one day for both Ashram residents and also a given number of Swamis invited from other important Uttarkashi Ashrams as well
